The Teachers' Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) has announced the recruitment of Under-Graduate and Graduate Teachers under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Government of Tripura. Available Posts and Vacancies
Under-Graduate Teacher (UGT) for Classes I-V:
- Total Vacancies: 1099
- Pay: ₹16,050/- per month (Fixed as per Level-7 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018)
Graduate Teacher (GT) for Classes VI-VIII:
- Total Vacancies: 467
- Pay: ₹20,475/- per month (Fixed as per Level-9 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018)
Category-wise reservations are applicable, including a 33% horizontal reservation for women candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
For UGT (Classes I-V):
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent qualifications.
- Must have passed the Tripura-Teachers' Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-I.
For GT (Classes VI-VIII):
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. or equivalent qualifications.
- Must have passed the T-TET Paper-II.
Note: Relaxation of 5% marks is available for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Age Limit
- Up to 40 years as of 12th December 2024.
- Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/PH and Government Servants as per norms.
