Longtarai Valley, May 30, 2024 – The Longtarai Valley CPI(M) Subdivision Committee organized a significant mass deputation yesterday, addressing crucial issues such as food, electricity, drinking water, road repairs, and aid for those affected by recent hailstorms. Delegations from both Manu Block and Chamanu Block participated in this initiative.
A delegation of five representatives from Manu Block submitted their demands to the B.D.O. In this block, Comrade Phool Mohan Tripura led the discussions. The event saw the active participation of prominent figures including State Committee Secretariat member Comrade Ratan Bhowmik, Subdivision Secretary Comrade Himangshu Deb, District Committee member Comrade Chinta Mohan Tripura, and Comrade Swapan Burua.
Simultaneously, a six-member delegation from Chamanu Block presented their concerns to the B.D.O. The discussions in this block were presided over by Comrade Nirajoy Tripura. Key participants included District Committee Secretary Comrade Pankaj Chakraborty, State Committee member Comrade Nirod Saha, and Comrades Jibon Mohan Tripura and Ashis Kanti Saha.
The CPI(M) representatives emphasized the urgency of prompt government intervention to address these pressing needs, highlighting the immediate necessity for relief and support for the affected residents.
