Bubagra Pradyot Manikya, who has been waiting in Delhi for over ten days to meet with representatives of the central government, expressed frustration at the lack of concrete action. He stated that various stakeholders, including Samajhpatis, ATTF returnees, leaders of IPFT and Tipra Motha, alongside BJP representatives, had already presented their views and demands to the government representative, A K Mishra. Despite repeated meetings and assurances, no concrete timeline for addressing their concerns has been offered.
The Tipra Motha party, led by Bubagra Pradyot Manikya, primarily advocates for a separate state called "Greater Tipraland" for the indigenous communities of Tripura, alongside other demands related to their rights and development.
