Twipra Students Federation Demands Kokborok Announcements in Manu Railway Station
Longtharai Valley, 22 Jan: The Twipra Students Federation (TSF) LTV Divisional Committee submitted a memorandum to the Station Master of Manu Railway Station yestersday, urging the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) to implement Kokborok language announcements alongside Bengali, Hindi, and English in railway stations across Tripura.
In response to the memorandum, the Station Master of Manu Railway Station reportedly assured the TSF representatives that their request would be forwarded to the General Manager of NFR in Guwahati for serious consideration. He acknowledged the importance of inclusivity and expressed optimism that steps would be taken soon to implement Kokborok announcements in Tripura's railway stations.
