PM Modi Will Be On A Gujarat Tour On June 10 And 18, And Will Address A Public Meeting


Ahmedabad :  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on June 10 and 18 to inaugurate a multi-specialty hospital and address two public meetings in Navsari and Vadodara districts. An official gave this information on Tuesday. He said that on June 10, the Prime Minister will address a meeting of tribals at Khudvel village in Navsari district. According to the local administration, around three lakh tribals from south Gujarat, including Navsari, Tapi, Dang, and Valsad districts, are expected to attend the event at Khudvel in Chikhali taluka.





Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will also attend the event. Modi will inaugurate a multi-specialty hospital and AM Naik health care complex located on National Highway-48 in Navsari on the same day, a statement by the 'Nirali Memorial Medical Trust said. Municipal Commissioner Shalini Agarwal said that on June 18, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address about four lakh people in a meeting on the outskirts of Vadodara city. Earlier, he would also conduct a road show from the airport to the venue near Sardar Estate, he said.



Vadodara Municipal Corporation's standing committee chairman Hitendra Patel said Modi would reach Vadodara in the morning after offering prayers at the Mahakali temple atop the Pavagadh Hills in the neighboring Panchmahal district. After visiting the grounds to take stock of the preparedness, along with Agarwal and local MP Ranjan Bhatt, Patel said, “After a four-km-long roadshow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced plans for various government schemes like rural housing at Leprosy Hospital grounds near Sardar Estate. We will address around four lakh people including beneficiaries. These visits are taking place ahead of the Gujarat assembly elections to be held in December this year.
