District Police DSP Ram Kumar Dani told ANI that the plane may have crashed in the Titi area of hilly Mustang district because locals in the area called and told us they heard an unusual sound as if something had exploded. We are deploying helicopters to search there.

The Nepalese government has reportedly deployed two helicopters from Mustang and Pokhara to search for the missing plane. A Nepal Army helicopter is also being prepared for deployment for the search, a Home Ministry spokesman said.
